Aldermore has appointed Scott Pendlebury as its business development manager (BDM) for the North in its invoice finance team.

Pendlebury joins from Novuna Business Cash Flow, where he was a senior BDM for corporate finance for around a year.

Prior to that, he was a commercial relationship manager at TSB Bank for around five years. Before that, he was a commercial account manager at Wesleyan Bank for just over two years.

Pendlebury also spent more than 12 years at Barclays, initially joining as a personal banker and working his way up to relationship manager.

Aldermore said his “deep sector knowledge and relationship-led approach will be significant in building strong partnerships with brokers and clients, helping to unlock opportunities and drive growth across the North”.

Chris Meldrum, head of business development at Aldermore, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Scott to the team. His extensive experience and proven ability to deliver bespoke funding solutions will be key as we continue to grow our presence in the North. I look forward to seeing the impact he’ll make.”
