London-based mortgage and protection broker Bennison Brown has extended its partnership with Stonebridge.

The partnership extension is part of a “long-term deal” that will see the relationship between the two businesses span over a decade.

Bennison Brown was founded by Michael Bennison and Andrew Brown in 2016 and currently employs over 10 advisers. It has completed over £1.2bn of lending in that time.

The broker firm said the decision to enter a renewed long-term agreement with Stonebridge showed a “strong alignment in culture and ambition, as well as the network’s proven track record in supporting appointed representatives (ARs) to scale their business”.

Stonebridge currently works with over 1,300 advisers and has arranged over £15bn of lending in the last 12 months.

Michael Bennison, managing director of Bennison Brown, said: “Stonebridge has been a fantastic partner for nearly a decade, and therefore our decision to renew was an easy one.

“When looking for a network back in 2016, we needed someone that was not just strong on compliance but also had the tools, experience, and support to help us grow as a business, while continuing to match our ambition. In that sense, Stonebridge remains the perfect home for us.”

Rob Clifford, chief executive of Stonebridge, added: “Michael and Andrew have built a well-earned reputation for professionalism, ambition and outstanding customer care. It has been our absolute pleasure to support them on their journey.

“We’re therefore thrilled to be continuing on that journey with the team at Bennison Brown under this new long-term agreement as we continue to invest in our infrastructure, technology, and service for the benefit of all our members.”

Stonebridge recently brought on Vibrant Mortgages as an AR and renewed its partnership with The Mortgage Shop.
