Crowdfunder Property Partner appoints new chief financial officer
Crowdfunding platform Property Partner has recruited a new chief financial officer as it looks to widen its market share.

Warren Bath, former mergers and acquisitions director at Sky Plc, has taken on the role as the company works towards its vision of building a ‘global stock exchange’ for property.

Bath, a chartered accountant, has also held senior positions at Morgan Stanley, Virgin Mobile UK and Vodafone Australia.

Daniel Gandesha, founder and chief executive of Property Partner, said: “Warren is a top-flight financial operator with more than 20 years’ experience in UK and international finance. Having worked with Warren at Sky, I’m hugely excited by the contribution he can make in helping us achieve our immediate targets, as well as our longer-term ambition to become a global property stock exchange.”

Property Partner enables large and small investors to buy shares in tenanted residential properties across the UK for as little as £50 and operates a secondary market on which investors can trade their property shares.

It recently raised £15.9m in venture funding which it will use to expand its market reach.

Bath said: “I’m extremely impressed with the team and the momentum that Dan has built, as we enter a dynamic new phase of expansion.”
