Vantage Finance receives private equity boost
Vantage Finance has secured investment from a private equity firm to allow it to grow its management structure and distribution channels in the specialist broker market.

Chiltern Capital has purchased a ‘significant’ minority stake in the business and will work with Vantage on its expansion plans.

Managing director Lucy Hodge (pictured) launched the company, which intermediates secured loans, buy-to-let, commercial development finance and bridging deals, in 2004.

She said: “The investment will allow us to take our growth and expansion even further, continuing to offer the intermediary market the rigorous approach to quality and service delivery for which Vantage Finance has become known.”

The firm took on a number of people last year to support its development including appointments within its compliance department.

Alex Sheffield, partner of Chiltern Capital, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with the team at Vantage Finance. This is characteristic of a Chiltern investment, providing strategic support and backing to an ambitious MD of a growing business in a sector with positive market dynamics.”
