Ex-Harrods CEO joins Together
Specialist lender Together, has appointed the former CEO of Harrods Bank as its chief executive of its retail division in a bid to its brand into a household name.

Peter Ball (pictured) has worked in the financial services sector for 30 years. Prior to his role at Harrods, he held the position of product and commercial director at Virgin Money from 2010 to 2014 and before that he was senior vice president of MBNA / Bank of America from 2003 to 2010.

Ball is the latest in a string of appointments made by Together from high profile financial institutions over the past three months.

Ron Baxter, ex-senior adviser for the Prudential Regulation Authority, former M&S Bank CEO Colin Kersley and Wayne Bowser the former deputy head of commercial banking at HSBC, have all taken up positions as non-executive directors.

Mike McTighe, chairman of Together, said Ball’s wealth of experience in the financial services industry complemented the skills and expertise it had built up within its core retail division.

“This is another high profile hire for the business and highlights our commitment to investing in a leadership team that can help drive our ongoing development, as we seek to make Together a household name across the UK,” he said.
