Fiona NicolsonShawbrook Bank has completed its first residential application using its E-Signature service in five working days.
The service enables customers to read and sign their documentation in real time, rather than taking up to three days by post.
Andy Pelley, director of The Loan Partnership, which is currently “road-testing” the service, said that he found it a lot more efficient and customer-friendly, as well as making things easier for brokers. The service is to be rolled out to all of Shawbrook’s residential mortgage brokers from August.
Maeve Ward, managing director, Residential Mortgages at Shawbrook said: “It shows that our commitment to constantly improving the customer journey through the latest technology, combined with a talented team is a winning formula.”
