Foundation Home Loans reports busy summer after portal launch
Foundation Home Loans has credited its recently-launched online portal with drawing advisers to its business over the summer period.

The Bracknell-based buy-to-let lender launched its portal at the start of July, and said it has seen increased engagement from introducers since.

The firm said the flurry of interest had helped offset the usually quiet summer period and showed more buy-to-let business was moving online.

Foundation’s portal, TED (Technology Enhanced Decisioning) lets introducers complete online decision-in-principles, submit applications directly to the lender, upload supporting documents and track individual cases.

Business development director Paul Brett said: “Our introducers have reported that our portal is simpler to use than others and delivers exactly what it promises, which is a positive experience in the sending and receipt of online decisioning, the online application process and consequent tracking of cases.

“We have taken our time to develop our online service to make sure it is fit for purpose and the feedback has been overwhelmingly upbeat. There is no doubt that more buy-to-let business is moving online and we will be at the forefront of developing our systems to help introducing partners better service their customers.”
