Vantage appoints Jon Daniels as sales director
Specialist broker Vantage Finance has appointed Jon Daniels as sales director from Tesco Bank, in its latest push to deliver growth over the coming years.

Daniels has over 19 years of experience in financial services sales. He most recently headed up insurance partnerships for Tesco Bank and prior to that he was head of protection insurance at the bank with responsibility for growing revenue and profit for the division. He also worked in a number of positions during a 13-year stint at Aviva.

Commenting on his appointment Daniels said: “I’ve spent my career developing relationships with key partners and have most enjoyed working in businesses with a strong brand that are ripe for growth. Vantage fits that description perfectly – the feedback they receive from intermediaries and lenders is exemplary.”

He added: “The specialist finance market has really taken off in the past five years and there is huge potential to build on this momentum.”

In recent months, Vantage has secured equity backing from private equity fund Chiltern Capital and appointed ex-Aviva life and pensions CEO, David Barral, as chairman.

A complete rebrand of the Vantage Finance business followed over the summer.

Lucy Hodge (pictured), managing director of Vantage, said: “Jon’s track record and experience speaks for itself and I’m thrilled he has chosen to come on board with Vantage at such a key time in our development. This year has marked a shift in gear for Vantage. We have a unique service-led proposition, a strong brand, high calibre talent and the investment capital to enable us to deliver on our future growth plans.”
