Castle Trust hires Borro’s Mark Stephenson as East Anglia BDO
Castle Trust has recruited Borro’s Mark Stephenson as business development manager (BDM) in East Anglia.
He will be responsible for the areas of Chelmsford, Colchester, Cambridge, Ilford, Romford, Hertford, Luton, Milton Keynes, Stevenage and Southend-On-Sea.
Stephenson joined Borro as a sales executive in 2012 and was promoted to senior account and business development manager in mid-2013.
Castle Trust director of sales Alex Upton said: “With a host of unique features, our products don’t look like those of other mortgage lenders and so a high calibre sales force is central in helping ever more brokers to deliver great outcomes for their clients.”
The lender, which distributes via intermediaries only, wants to expand its business.
In February it launched a drawdown mortgage for landlords, which allows them to secure a loan against an existing property, giving them quick access to funds for further purchases.
