Pepper Money appoints Martin Brown as head of products
Pepper Money has hired Martin Brown as head of products, joining from lifetime mortgage lender Just where he worked as propositions development manager.

Brown (pictured) has previously held senior mortgage product development roles at the Post Office, Lloyds Banking Group and Bank of Ireland.

He has also worked at the Financial Conduct Authority.

Brown is tasked with ensuring that Pepper is the first-choice lender for interesting cases by monitoring and enhancing existing products and investigating new opportunities.

Martin Brown said: “The specialist market is one of the most exciting sectors in the UK mortgage industry at the moment and Pepper is one of the most exciting lenders within that market.

“Pepper’s plans for the future promise to provide plenty of new opportunities for brokers and their clients and I can’t wait to help shape those plans with the development of new products that provide easy solutions for brokers’ interesting cases.”

James Blower, marketing director at Pepper Money, said: “Any lender that is serious about making life easier for brokers should continually review its product range in response to feedback and market changes.

“Martin has a huge amount of mortgage product development experience and will be a valuable addition to our team and our commitment to reviewing and enhancing our proposition for brokers.”
