Catalyst Property Finance appoints trio to lending team
Catalyst Property Finance has appointed three members of staff within its head office team.

The lender has hired James Farge as client relationship manager, as well as Martyn Balsom and Amy Rickman as credit analyst and servicing manager, respectively.

Farge has joined from Edwards, Balsom from Teacher’s Building Society and Rickman from Magellan Homeloans.

Chris Fairfax, CEO at Catalyst Property Finance (pictured), said that since its launch in early 2018, the bridging business has grown at an incredible pace.

Fairfax added: “James’ role is to work closely with our brokers and customers, to originate new lending opportunities.

“Martyn and Amy both join us with strong experience in underwriting specialist loans. All three have hit the ground running and will help us ensure the very best bridging loan service as we continue to grow our business.”

Farge said he was excited to see where the team can take the organisation over the coming years.

Balsom added: “This is an exciting time to join the Catalyst team. It was a very hard decision for me to leave Teacher’s however after meeting with Chris I felt the opportunity to join Catalyst was one I couldn’t turn down.”

Rickman said: “Having worked in the finance industry for over seven years, I was ready for a new challenge to develop my career further.

“I was introduced to Catalyst and excited by the opportunity they presented. It is my hope to play an integral role as the lender grows its short term lending business.”
