Landbay appoints regional account manager for the North East

Dowson boasts more than 20 years of experience, and joins from Castle Trust Bank where she held a similar role. Previously she worked as business development manager at Glenhawk, Together, and Northern Rock, where she spent more than a decade.

The lender said that her existing relationships with brokers in the region made her perfect for the role, allowing her to hit the ground running in helping Landbay to boost its lending in the North East.

She said: “The buy-to-let market is strong in the North East with many landlords enjoying good rental yields so I expect I will be kept busy.”

Paul Brett, managing director of intermediaries at Landbay, said that Dowson would be an integral part of the team. “Her working knowledge of the North East and extensive mortgage experience stands her in good stead for helping us achieve our targets.”
