Together promotes Tanya Elmaz to lead commercial finance team

Elmaz (pictured) joined the specialist lender as business development manager for London and has worked there for seven years. Elmaz has 20 years’ experience in the sector having previously worked at Bradford and Bingley in management and sales roles.  

In her new role, she will lead and develop the lender’s commercial finance business. 

She will lead a team of eight field sales account managers, four roving underwriters and 16 sales and management support employees. 

Elmaz said she was pleased to take up the appointment and excited to work with the lender’s business partners.

She added: “This new appointment is also a great step forward for diversity and inclusion across the industry – seeing more women in leadership roles in financial services is essential and should be encouraged across the sector.” 

Marc Goldberg, CEO of commercial finance, said Elmaz was a “valued member” of the senior management team and appointing her was the “obvious choice” due to her display of leadership, commerciality and passion. 

Goldberg added: “She brings with her hands-on experience of every role in the channel, possessing a firm understanding of what motivates and drives the team and business partners. Using her high levels of drive, initiative and enthusiasm, she will be placing a high priority on developing the team around her.
