MFS makes 16 internal promotions as expansion continues
Market Financial Solutions (MFS) has promoted 16 employees in recent months and is currently hiring across 11 roles.

This includes the promotions of underwriting managers Scott Lord, Richard D’Souza and Omkar Hushing to the respective roles of head of bridging underwriting – direct brokers and clients, head of bridging underwriting – business development and networks, and head of buy-to-let and specialist lending underwriting.

Business development managers Zahira Fayyaz and Paul Ratcliffe have been promoted to the positions of regional sales manager for the South East and regional sales manager for the North respectively.

They will work alongside regional sales manager for the South West, Imogen Williams.

The lender has doubled its headcount since the start of 2022 to more than 100 employees. As part of this growth, Maria Gilbert has been promoted to chief of staff and will be tasked with managing the workforce.

MFS is looking to continue expanding, and is seeking to hire three senior underwriters, three underwriters, two junior underwriters and two assistant underwriters across its bridging and buy-to-let divisions. It also wants to recruit two business development executives.

Paresh Raja, CEO at MFS, said: “As a lender, you naturally work to ensure your products are as competitive as possible, and you invest in technology and processes to ensure a streamlined service. But there’s no substitute for great people – so, we’re delighted to share the news of some MFS employees moving up the ranks over recent months.

“We always prioritise professional development, promoting from within whenever possible. We seek out problem solvers; people ready to take an extra step make a deal happen and deliver an exceptional service for clients, even when challenges arise or other lenders may turn away.”

He added: “Our success and growth over recent years comes down to the hard work of our great team. I look forward to supporting more people in their development within the specialist finance sector, and helping them to climb the ladder within our ever-growing team.”
