Zephyr Homeloans has introduced five-year fixed rate deals at 80% loan to value (LTV) for houses in multiple occupancy (HMOs) and multi-unit freehold blocks (MUFBs).

This is the first time that the specialist buy-to-let (BTL) lender has offered such options at this tier.

For properties with an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of A to C, there is a five-year fix with a rate of 5.99% and a 3% fee. There is also a fee-free option priced at 6.59%.

For properties with a rating of D or E, the five-year fix with a 3% fee has a rate of 6.09% and the 0% fee option has a rate of 6.69%.

Landlords can also add the mortgage arrangement fee to the loan balance up to a maximum of 83% LTV.

Zephyr Homeloans said it would continue to offer products at 80% LTV on its standard mortgage range.

Paul Fryers (pictured), managing director at Zephyr Homeloans, said: “We’re pleased to be able to offer a wider range of products and fees to help brokers find the best deal for their landlord clients.”

Last month, Zephyr Homeloans reduced its BTL rates across and two- and five-year fixes.
