There are over 25 awards up for grabs across broker, lender and business leader categories, and they offer an opportunity for stakeholders across the sector – whether you specialise in bridging, commercial, second charge, development finance or complex buy to let (BTL) – to recognise excellence across the specialist lending industry.
It is an opportunity for entrants to not only build their reputations by commemorating their extraordinary individual accomplishments within their own businesses and the wider industry, but also showcase what this amazing sector has to offer.
Entrants can self-nominate, but if there is someone who you think goes above and beyond in their role, then please nominate them.

What does the nomination process look like?
The nomination process is a rigorous three-tier process with a focus on fairness and transparency.
The first stage of the process is an invitation to the industry to nominate individuals over the last 12 months.
An initial longlist is then drawn up for each category and a weighting system applied to account for the number of nominations from the individual’s own business and the industry more widely. There is a cap of five nominations received from within each nominee’s business.
This will then be narrowed to a three-person shortlist, and these people will be asked to submit a supporting testimonial and are then invited to a 15-minute interview with our esteemed judges.
What makes the British Specialist Lending Awards so special?
Danielle Moore, managing director for AE3 Media, said: “The British Specialist Lending Awards recognise key individuals who are making an expectational impact in their businesses and the specialist lending sector more widely.
“It not only looks to reward individuals driving progress but promotes professionalism and excellence in the sector.
“The awards also give visibility to unsung talent, looking to recognise rising stars in broking and underwriting, as well as pivotal sectors within the mortgage industry like administrators, conveyancers, surveyors and more.”
