Barnard has experience in the specialist finance sector, including work across networks, clubs and lenders in the bridging and commercial space.
She was previously at LendInvest for over six years as its bridging business development manager (BDM), and before that, she was a bridging specialist at the Buy to Let Business for a year and a half.
Somo said she developed a reputation for having a hands-on approach and deep industry relationships.
In her role at Somo, Barnard will lead the strategic development of its networks and clubs proposition, strengthen partnerships, build on engagement and support brokers.
