Business finance provider Asset Advantage has brought out a broker survey to explore SME funding challenges and opportunities.

The survey will ask commercial finance brokers about key themes and topics shaping the market to “understand both the current and future state of play”.

This will include in-demand sectors, changing client needs, funder appetite and the growing use of funding for business acquisitions.

The survey will be officially launched at the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB) Expo, which is due to take place on 11 June in Birmingham.

Gary Thompson, sales director at Asset Advantage, said: “Our key focus this year is investing in growth, as we ensure our proposition delivers exactly what commercial brokers need to meet the ever-changing demands of the market.

“With our investment in people and processes, we are making sure that we can support brokers with a wide range of deals, whether it’s business loans, asset finance or business acquisitions – which continues to be a real growth area.”

He continued: “Our new survey is a critical part in our growth strategy, as it enables us to identify the lay of the land and clearly understand the demands and needs of brokers and the SMEs they are supporting.

“Last year’s survey generated some fantastic insights and I’m sure this year will be no exception. The Asset Advantage team is looking forward to attending the NACFB Expo and speaking with brokers about what we can offer and our wider growth strategy.”
