The investment manager has expanded its property development finance team with four senior appointments across origination and portfolio management teams.

Triple Point said these appointments will help scale the platform and support its long-term growth.

These hires follow the previously announced appointments of Victoria Baily as head of property portfolio and Phil Bird as head of origination.

Appointments within origination

Richard Nowell joins as an origination director, bringing more than 30 years’ experience in residential development finance from RBS and Secure Trust Bank. He was a founding member of its real estate finance division.

Michael Thompson (pictured above) also joins as an origination director. He brings senior real estate experience from Falco Capital, Barclays and Lloyds Bank that spanned senior, mezzanine and equity financing across multiple asset classes.

Portfolio management team strengthened

Jason Maher (pictured above) joins as associate director from Hampshire Trust Bank, bringing over 35 years’ experience across property and real estate finance.

Alastair Partridge (pictured above) joins as portfolio manager from Shawbrook Bank, with 30 years’ experience across development finance, real estate investment finance and business banking.

Sean Brophy, chief commercial officer for private credit at Triple Point, said: “These appointments reflect a deliberate investment in capability, not just headcount, at a key point in the cycle where experience, judgement and relationships are crucial.

“By adding depth across both origination and portfolio management, we are enhancing our ability to support developers consistently and building a stronger platform positioned for long-term growth.”
