POLL: Remortgage activity set to soar
Last week’s Mortgage Solutions poll revealed the industry is expecting an increase in remortgaging levels after recent standard variable rate hikes by lenders.
Just under three quarters of you expect more borrowers to start looking around for a better deal, while 28% don’t expect any noticeable change in remortgaging activity.
This week’s poll asks whether repossession levels will increase in 2010, in light of figures published by the Council of Mortgage Lenders last week which revealed a 15% increase in 2009, despite a slight improvement in Q4.
