Industry figures have united in agreement that the intermediary market will see advisers moving towards membership of larger mortgage distributors.
Speaking at the CML conference last week, Ian Andrew of Nationwide said he expected further consolidation in the industry, and that he anticipates some weaker distributors going under in the coming year.
Legal & General’s Stephen Smith added that the market was already seeing advisers shift towards bigger networks who could offer more support.
The latest Mortgage Solutions People’s Poll asks brokers whether you are considering switching mortgage network, or have already made a switch in the last six months.
