MMR will force lenders to put more trust in brokers

As a broker we are always at a disadvantage to a lender as we have no direct access to a credit reference agency and therefore always have to take what an applicant says at face value.

If the lenders would open up Experian and Equifax to us so that we could assess an applicant prior to submitting a DIP then we would be able to filter applicants to the right lender first time saving everyone time and money.
