More than 150 industry professionals will take part in the two-day event on 30 September and 1 October, alongside colleagues from Aviva’s protection business.
The challenge, delivered in partnership with Cumbria Wildlife Trust, will support the restoration of Skiddaw Forest near Keswick.
The project is part of Aviva’s £38m partnership with The Wildlife Trusts to restore and reconnect areas of temperate rainforest across the British Isles.
Restoration work will cover 3,000 acres of habitat, including the creation of 620 acres of temperate rainforest.
On the first day, teams of five will work with conservation specialists to sow seeds in a purpose-built nursery to produce native trees for future planting.

Participants will then complete a 15-mile hike the following day, planting seeds along the route before summiting Skiddaw.
Each team is aiming to raise at least £2,500 for Cumbria Wildlife Trust, with the money supporting habitat restoration, biodiversity and nature recovery across the landscape.

He added: “Protection is all about helping people build resilience for the future, and this challenge extends that thinking to the environment.”
James Jolly, business relationships at Cumbria Wildlife Trust, said the land purchase was “just the start” of a 100-year restoration partnership and added that the challenge was also intended to support local communities and businesses.
