Registered Principality brokers will be able to log in to the service, Brokerpoint, via the website and can choose to either view their Principality portfolio or view detailed information about their individual client mortgage applications.
The system also splits the application process into five stages: submitted, underwriting, offered, awaiting completion and complete.
Shaun Middleton, head of regulatory sales at Principality, said: “Launching broker case tracking is part of our ongoing plan for service excellence, to streamline and improve our service for brokers. The service will be available to brokers at any time of day allowing them to get updates simply and quickly.”
The launch of Brokerpoint is part of the Society’s wider plans to develop its broker arm. In the new year it plans to employ additional business development managers to give brokers increased face-to-face contact with the society when required.
