How many brokers do you see in a week?
Usually between 30 and 35.
What issues come up time and time again?
I tend to get a lot of enquiries about the criteria governing those clients that are self-employed as their circumstances seem to have had the most significant change post-financial crisis.

And, my brokers are always asking if I have any promotional items like umbrellas, pens and diaries to give them!
Favourite part of your job?
Seeing my brokers face-to-face and helping them to do more business.
Biggest challenge?
Feeding my family when I’m working late on the laptop – thankfully, my hubby has become a dab hand in the kitchen.
Strangest question you’ve ever been asked?
“My client has a few CCJs – is that going to adversely affect their application?”
What do you wish brokers understood about your job?
Just how busy my phone is on a daily basis and how difficult it is to read very long emails on a BlackBerry screen.
Last film you saw at the cinema?
Skyfall – worth it for Daniel Craig!
Least favourite sport?
Rugby – I’m the daughter of an ex-professional footballer and manager so I am very much in the camp of ‘let the feet do the talking’!

BlackBerry.
Favourite biscuit?
KitKat tops my list but, to be honest, anything with chocolate on it will do!
