How many brokers do you see in a week?

20-25 people every week.

What issues come up time and time again?

The current hot topics are all around the understanding of Help To Buy, both the new build and mortgage guarantee sides.

Favourite part of your job?

Meeting my brokers and discussing their enquiries – solving issues and helping them grow their business with both new and existing customers.

Biggest challenge?

Tackling the motorways of the North West on a daily basis – M62 in particular.

Strangest question you’ve ever been asked?

When doing a product transfer can we also do a further advance up to 120% LTV.

What do you wish brokers understood about your job?

At times when brokers are busy, we are also. We always strive and ensure that we provide the best level of service and deal with queries as soon as possible. We are here to help brokers and work with them.

Last film you saw at the cinema?

Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa – I lived in Norwich for many years and was even involved in hospital radio!

Least favourite sport?

El Greco Wrestling – saw it at London 2012, my son was desperate to see it at the time. We will not be going again!

Current mobile phone?

Blackberry.

Favourite biscuit?

Digestive – as long as I can have a piece of cheese with it!
