GMAC has launched a new range of products for the non-conforming sector that are tailored for clients in different parts of the country.
Julie Gaskin, corporate relations manager at GMAC, said it had looked at average loan sizes by county to see how it could give clients a better product based on circumstances. She explained: “This offers them a choice on a lower rate with a higher arrangement fee or a higher rate with a lower arrangement fee.”
Gaskin continued: “We have established that with the average loans in Berkshire, London, Surrey, Middlesex, Hertfordshire and Berkshire, it is more cost-effective to take a product that has a lower interest rate.”
Gaskin added that for the average loans in some areas, such as Lanarkshire, Yorkshire and Greater Manchester, it was more cost efficient to go for a higher rate with a lower arrangement fee.
