Kensington joins Homeowners Mortgage Support Scheme
Kensington Mortgages has joined the Homeowners Mortgage Support Scheme (HMSS), the Government scheme which allows borrowers make smaller mortgage repayments for up to two years without losing their homes.
The firm has joined other lenders including Lloyds Banking Group and Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), who have already signed up to the scheme.
Keith Street, head of Kensington Mortgages, said: “We have been working hard to finalise the systems and process requirements to implement the scheme. We are delighted that we are now able to offer HMSS as yet another option as part of our standard forbearance procedure, providing another choice of concession for customers who are facing difficulty with their payments.”
