Halifax £500 cashback mortgages exclude deals through brokers
Halifax is offering £500 cashback on first-time buyer and homemover mortgages, as well as remortgages from another lender, but has excluded applications coming through its intermediary arm.
The bank’s money-back offer is available until March 2018 and available on most deals except buy-to-let, product transfers – and deals organised by brokers.
A spokesperson for Halifax said the lender regularly updates promotional campaigns, including cashback, to benefit borrowers coming through intermediaries, as well as direct customers.
Andy Bickers, mortgages director at Halifax, said: “While moving house is a big and exciting milestone in life, it can also be a stressful time for some.
“Our latest cashback offer is designed to help customers, by putting some money back in their pocket at a time it’s most needed.”
