Poll: Are lenders doing enough to support self-employed borrowers?
The growth in self-employed and contract workers is one of the longer-term trends in the UK population.
This has been driven by a range of factors including changes in working behaviours, retirement habits and employment practices.
As a result, many people do not fit the traditional standardised income model for mortgage borrowers.
