Furness Building Society has launched two-year discount mortgages with no early repayment charges (ERCs).

The products are available across England, Scotland and Wales. The mortgages have rates of 0.89 per cent up to 60 per cent loan to value (LTV) and 1.19 per cent up to 80 per cent LTV.

There is a fee of £1,699 which can be paid upfront or added to the loan.

It also offers an incentive of a standard free valuation and for remortgages, applicants are eligible for free legals. For cases in Scotland, applicants will receive a £150 contribution towards legal fees.

Alasdair McDonald, head of intermediary mortgages at Furness for Intermediaries, said: “As the cost of living creeps up, we want to help give your clients some peace of mind by keeping mortgage payments as low as possible.

“Our new products come with highly competitive rates and, with no ERCs, your clients can rest easy knowing they can switch to a fixed deal if the rates get too high.”
