Catherine Darroue has taken up the newly created role of marketing and brand director.
Darroue has more than 20 years’ experience working in financial services markets around the world. She joins from Aetna International, part of Fortune 10 company CVS Health, where she was the global head of marketing, proposition and corporate communications for seven years.
Prior to this, she held senior marketing roles at MetLife, Friends Life and Legal and General (L&G).
Rebecca Luter has been appointed as HR director.
Luter has a track record of building diverse and inclusive high-performing teams and joins SBG with 19 years’ financial services experience.

She worked for Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) in senior roles, most recently as the HR director, and is a chartered fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
Reporting to chief executive Richard Harrison, Darroue will take up her new role on 2 December and Luter in January next year.
Both will be joining SBG’s executive committee.
The new hires follow the recent appointment of Toni Smith as the distribution director for Sesame Network.
