This has seen the insurance provider’s national account management team double in size, following the appointments of John Price (pictured, far left), Neil Parfitt (pictured, far right) and Sarah Jackson (pictured, middle right), joining Dean Marson (pictured, middle left), who has been with Paymentshield for over 10 years.
The national account managers will be supported by four key account managers and eight business development managers (BDMs), who will focus on supporting the firms within each partner panel.
Paymentshield said this would allow the teams to concentrate on a small number of key networks and gain expertise on their processes, technology and structure.
The company will also assign additional key account managers who will solely oversee directly authorised firms, catering to their unique needs and operational structures.
Paymentshield said assigning the business development team to specific partners would allow the company to deliver greater value.

This change will be fully implemented from 1 September.
Emma Green (pictured, middle), distribution director at Paymentshield, said: “I’m really pleased to finally announce this change to our business development team. We’ve got some incredible talent deservedly stepping up to bigger roles as we look to build and strengthen our relationships with new and existing partners.
“We’re now exceptionally well-placed to proactively support our partners to grow their general insurance penetration, fulfil their Consumer Duty requirements and ultimately ensure more intermediated customers get access to good-quality advice and products – whether that be through offering advice themselves or introducing them to our specialist Refer and Protect team.”
Earlier this year, the firm updated its mortgage protection offering.
