As a telephone BDM, he will be the dedicated point of contact for brokers, offering case updates and guidance on criteria and helping to navigate complex cases.
Stringer has worked at Norton Home Loans in three roles, beginning in administration, moving into underwriting and then taking on his current role on 4 August.
This promotion comes after the promotion of Laura Percival to the head of lending in June, which the lender said showed its “keen focus on developing internal talent across the business”.
David Binney, head of sales at Norton Home Loans, said: “Jake’s progression through the business is a great example of the value of internal development. He’s grown his knowledge of both the operational and lending sides of Norton and now brings that experience into a role that’s all about relationships. Brokers will benefit from his energy, attention to detail, and his ability to cut through complexity.”
Stringer added: “I’ve been lucky to gain experience across different teams at Norton, and that’s given me a real understanding of what matters to brokers and underwriters alike. I’m excited to be working more closely with brokers and building longstanding relationships.”
