LiveMore appoints Beswick as key account manager for the North

Phil Beswick has been hired as key account manager at LiveMore, covering the North, to support the later life lender’s growth.

Beswick has experience in the financial services sector and was previously a business development manager (BDM) at Standard Life Home Finance, also covering the North region. He held this position for around three years until the lender announced its exit from the later life lending market. 

Beswick also worked as a BDM at estate agency Strike, overseeing the North West. 

Beswick (pictured) said: “LiveMore has carved out a distinctive position in the market by championing borrowers in later life and delivering innovative products that genuinely meet their needs. It’s a pivotal moment to be joining the business, as it continues to expand its proposition and strengthen relationships with brokers. 

“I’m looking forward to contributing to the next stage of growth and helping more customers benefit from the flexible solutions LiveMore offers. I will be focused on building strong relationships with advisers across the North, supporting them in growing their business while helping more clients benefit from the right solution.” 

Darren Cunliffe, head of national accounts at LiveMore, added: “Over the past three years, LiveMore has achieved an incredible 721% revenue growth. Phil’s experience and skills will help us build on that growth as we enhance our support for brokers across the North, and work towards our goal of becoming the number one later life mortgage specialist.”

Cunliffe said the lender was investing in its technology to support its growth, including its LiveMore Mortgage Matcher. 

He added: “This tool simplifies the process of finding the right later life mortgage by filtering more than 250 products across multiple categories, including standard capital and interest, interest-only, part-and-part, retirement interest-only and lifetime (equity release) mortgages. In just a few minutes, advisers can generate a tailored PDF of options to share with clients, supporting better customer outcomes in line with Consumer Duty.”
