Howe will take on the role on 1 November and was most recently director of strategy and transformation.
He has worked at Cirencester Friendly for around seven years, and prior to that, he was the owner of and principal consultant at Revica for around 12 years.
Howe has also been an associate consultant at Leading Resolutions for nearly eight years and the head of delivery at Rittman Mead for two years.
He will join the board and oversee customer operations, business change and transformation, as well as all areas of technology.
Cirencester Friendly has also brought on Joanne Safo as non-executive director. She has over two decades of experience in the insurance sector.

Cirencester has ambitious plans for growth, and I’ll relish playing a full role in helping to meet these objectives.”
