Twenty7tec has appointed Kate Buckley as its chief revenue officer to strengthen the company’s leadership team and build on its growth and product investment.

She brings 25 years of experience in fintech and joins from iPipeline, where she worked for over 20 years – first as a strategic business partner, then a distribution client manager. At iPipeline, Buckley led the revenue teams for the protection portal business.

In her role at Twenty7tec, Buckley will be responsible for identifying new customers and aligning sales and marketing goals.

Buckley said: “I’ve long been impressed by Twenty7tec’s innovation in the marketplace and its commitment to improving access to financial products. I’m delighted to be joining the company at such an exciting stage, and I’m particularly inspired by the dedication of the team and a genuinely ambitious roadmap that promises meaningful improvement across our industry.

“I’m really looking forward to bringing my experience to the role and working closely with the team.”

Leadership changes at Twenty7tec

Additionally, Twenty7tec has made two senior leadership promotions to support its growth.

Toni Robinson-Bowring has been promoted to chief product officer, leading product strategy, vision, design and development across the company’s full suite.

She has worked for the company since 2023 and was most recently director of product and delivery.

In her new role, Robinson-Bowring will be responsible for setting the overall product direction, driving innovation and new product development. She will lead the product and delivery teams to achieve the company’s roadmaps, aligning the product, engineering, commercial and customer teams.

She will also oversee the performance of products, adoptions and long-term value creation, as well as lead market delivery for new launches.

Robinson-Bowring said: “I’m excited to be stepping into the chief product officer role at Twenty7tec. We have an ambitious product strategy for the next phase of our growth, and I’m looking forward to working across our teams and partners to deliver even more value to advisers and their clients.”

Nathan Reilly, formerly chief product officer, has been promoted to chief customer officer and will be responsible for Twenty7tec’s customer strategy and customer-facing functions.

He will align the onboarding, account management and operations teams for a more joined-up customer experience, ensuring the customer’s voice remains central to decision-making.

Reilly said: “I am delighted to step into the role of chief customer officer at Twenty7tec. This role is all about making sure the customer stays at the heart of our strategy. By bringing together our onboarding, account management, and operations teams, we can create a smoother, more joined-up experience.

“My focus is simple: ensuring every interaction with us is clear, adds value, and ultimately helps our clients reach their goals, whilst guaranteeing the voice of our customer is always represented effectively within the business.”

James Tucker, CEO of Twenty7tec, added: “The addition of Kate to our team strengthens our senior leadership as we embark upon a pivotal period in our growth. There is no question that material change, driven by new technology and changes to regulation, is occurring across financial services.

“With Kate on our team, and with the promotions of Toni and Nathan, we are exceptionally well-placed to support all market participants through this time.”

Last week, Twenty7tec released a tool to help lenders track adviser behaviour and the performance of products.
