Gen H has expanded its New Build Boost scheme, its innovative Help to Buy alternative, in partnership with Lovell Homes.

The partnership will add plots from 25 Lovell Homes developments across England and Wales. giving greater choice and flexibility to aspiring new-build homeowners.

New Build Boost is administered by Gen H in partnership with selected housebuilders, including Persimmon and Charles Church.

The equity loan scheme only needs a 5% deposit and is used mainly by first-time buyers. The loan is frozen for five years and is interest-free forever.

The deal ups purchasing power by an average of 18% over conventional mortgages, worth around £50,000 for a typical household.

Justine Elliott, sales director at Lovell Homes, said: “We understand that buying a home can feel out of reach for many people, especially with rising costs affecting aspiring homeowners. Whether you’re purchasing for the first time, need more space for your family, or looking to move up the ladder, we’re committed to helping make homeownership more achievable, with practical solutions and real support.
