The brokerage said that the appointment reflects its growing ambitions.

The move reflects the company’s restructuring and subsequent strategy as a separate broker business.
In October 2025, the former First Financial Solutions restructured into a dual-brand model, launching The Finance Centre for direct-to-consumer services while rebranding the original entity as First Mortgage Solutions, a dedicated broker network supporting self-employed advisers across the UK.
This strategic split aims to eliminate consumer confusion and provide operational clarity as the firm scales both its retail and network divisions under the same executive leadership team. It also acquired new businesses, including Jim Kelly in North Wales.
