The broker, which has recently made a number of strategic hires as part of its expansion, said it was part of its plan to solidify its position as a key player in the industry.
Bryce had worked with Michael Street, founding partner of Word On The Street, at Together, when he began his career. More recently, he has been working at MS Lending Group, where he served in several key capacities, including business processor, case manager, and, most recently, underwriter.
He was nominated for ‘Underwriter of the Year’ at the B&C Awards in both 2024 and 2025.
Jack Medlicott, partner at Word On The Street, said Samuel’s appointment would bring a higher standard to the business.
He added: “We’re very intentional about the people we bring into the business; every addition to the team has to raise the standard. Sam absolutely does that. Our culture is built around raising the bar, accountability, and a genuine commitment to delivering for our clients. Sam is a great fit for that environment and reflects the level of talent and attitude.”

Bryce commented: “I’m delighted to be joining Word On The Street and excited for the opportunity ahead. I’ve known Michael, Jasmine, and Jack for a long time and have a huge amount of respect for the business they’re building, their values, and their ambition. After five great years in my previous role, this feels like the right next step, and I’m looking forward to contributing to the team’s continued growth.”
The move comes a month after Medlicott was added to the board. Prior to joining Word On The Street in July last year as a partner, Medlicott was a partner at MSB and an associate director at PLS Solicitors.
