Technology firm Intelliflo has revealed that it is in discussions with Mortgage Brain to improve its sourcing system.

The provider hopes that an agreement with Mortgage Brain will allow advisers to access the best products in the mortgage market.

In June 2009, Intelliflo developed its web-based mortgage sourcing system and key facts illustration (KFI) facility to operate alongside its point-of-sale system. The system allows access to intermediary and direct products with full product details and automatic true cost calculations.

It uses specific filtering options to improve results and it ensures that duplicate and unavailable products are removed.

While the sourcing system already has links with Trigold, Intelliflo is keen to partner with Mortgage Brain as it would allow it access to more products in the mortgage market.

Ian Merriman, sales manager at Intelliflo, said:  “Our roots are primarily in the IFA world, but we are keen to move further in the mortgage broker arena and listen to broker’s concerns. Our system is already flexible and relieves advisers of time-intensive administration but we believe that a partnership with Mortgage Brain will give mortgage brokers the best possible choice in the market.”
