The majority of brokers can either stay as they are simply servicing a revolving door of customers or rework their businesses to future proof to make services more customer-centric.

Jeremy Duncombe, director, Legal and General Mortgage Club, said: “The most important question of the next few years offers brokers two relative options. They can carry on reacting to the mortgage customers coming through the door or truly future proof to look after their customers and diversify their businesses.”
