Roberts to succeed Duncombe at Legal and General Mortgage Club
Kevin Roberts will succeed Jeremy Duncombe as director of the Legal and General Mortgage Club.

Roberts joins from Legal & General’s general insurance division, where he has been broker and affinity director for the past two years.

He will take-up the position on 14 March when current director Duncombe leaves to join lender Accord Mortgages.

Roberts has been responsible for the profit and growth of the channel, as well as protection relationships with a number of brands across the UK.

He has 28 years’ experience in insurance, including five at Legal & General. He has also held a variety of roles across both commercial and personal lines, and also in life assurance.

Exciting opportunity

Roberts said: “Joining Legal & General Mortgage Club is a hugely exciting opportunity.

“The team has gone from strength to strength in recent years, and I look forward to working closely with them to provide fresh and innovative ideas and to ensure the Mortgage Club evolves in the new digital age.”

Legal & General managing director of UK protection Steve Griffiths added: “We’re excited to welcome Kevin as he takes the helm of Legal & General Mortgage Club.

“Kevin will be a valuable addition to the team, bringing with him extensive experience of working with business partners within the insurance sector, which will no doubt widen the expertise of the club.

“Kevin joins an experienced team that holds great relationships with lenders and brokers alike, and we look forward to working closely with him to evolve and expand our proposition.”
