Product transfers: ‘A great way to engage and reconnect with customers’ – Jefferies

Product transfers are another opportunity to engage and reconnect with the customer and are increasing alongside remortgage numbers, said Victoria Jefferies, proposition director at LSL.


In the third part in our series of five videos in partnership with Halifax Intermediaries, Jefferies said for brokers that product transfers (PTs) were offering a fantastic opportunity to review protection and general insurance needs which can rapidly change for clients over just two years.

Andrew Montlake, director at London-based broker Coreco agreed and added: “It’s a partnership between the broker and client and if the broker has done their job right, the client will always want to engage with the broker again.”

Ian Wilson, head of Halifax Intermediaries said the lender, which became the first to launch PTs 12 years ago, continues to look at options targeted to make the transfer process easier for its broker partners.
