Blacks Connect has confirmed the appointment of Paul Darwin as a business consultant to help the conveyancer deliver its growth plans in the mortgage intermediary market.
Darwin, the ex-director of intermediary relationships retired from Skipton Building Society before Christmas after 28 years with the mutual.
Senior partner and head of Blacks Connect, David Gilman said: “Paul brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience and I look forward to growing our service further with Paul’s assistance.”
Darwin said: “I am thrilled to be working closely with David to deliver Blacks Connect’s ambitious growth plans.
“I knew straight away that I wanted to be party to that challenge and am looking forward to helping David and the team deliver on their vision and future goals.”

She has an MA in Radio from Goldsmiths after gaining a 2:1 in a Comparative American Studies BA at Warwick University. She also holds a TEFL qualification and taught overseas in Mexico and Japan from 1994 to 1997.
Her role includes editorial oversight of the news, analysis and features, event content management and strategic and editorial consultancy for the AE3 Media group. She is an experienced video, broadcast and live-event host and regularly chairs web and podcast debates and interviews.
