Lois Ashcroft has been promoted to the role of regional development manager at Pepper Money.

In her new post, she will be responsible for the South Sest region, working with local advisers to help deliver swift decisions and rapid processing.

Ashcroft joined Pepper Money Second Charge in 2018 as a mortgage adviser, and then moved over to intermediary mortgages last year where she worked as a telephone business development manager.

She previously worked in a variety of roles, including mortgage underwriter, at Principality Building Society.

Ashcroft said that having worked with intermediaries over the telephone, she was clear about how in demand a specialist approach is currently, as well as how crucial quality service is.

I’m looking forward to building on my relationships face-to-face and helping my brokers to service more of their customers,” she added.

Ryan Brailsford, director of business development at Pepper Money, said that Ashcroft was an example of how the lender looks to “nurture talent”, providing them with the tools they need to succeed.

He continued: “I know that Lois will relish the challenge of working with brokers face-to-face and I have every confidence that she will open the door to even more brokers finding the right solution for their customers with Pepper Money.”

The promotion is the latest in a series of recruitments and promotions at Pepper of late. Last month the lender recruited Rob Barnard to the role of director of intermediary relationships, Brad Rhodes to key accounts manager, and promoted Brailsford to his new role.
