Mortgage and protection network HL Partnership (HLP) has appointed Ian Pratt as its protection development specialist.
He will have the responsibility of assisting its member firms with training and support to develop their protection business alongside mortgage advice.
Pratt joins from Legal and General, where he was the account director for 19 years. Before this, he worked at life insurance provider AMP Pearl in a recruitment, sales and skills management role before becoming a strategic manager. He held this position for six years and was responsible for managing team training as well as supporting appointed representative firms.
He follows his former Legal and General colleague Steve Fallon, who joined HLP last year as protection development specialist to build the network’s protection support.
