Pepper recruits Voss as finance head; Keeble moves to ESG and sustainability
Andrew Voss has been appointed chief financial officer (CFO) at Pepper Money.

Voss joins from Bluestone Mortgages, where he has been CFO for 14 years. He boasts more than two decades of experience in financial services, with the lender arguing he has a proven track record with specialist lending businesses.

Voss admitted that there were “undoubtedly challenges” posed to Pepper by the current economic environment, but emphasised the lender was in a strong position to build for the future.

He continued: “We look forward to being able to talk more about these developments in the coming weeks as we continue our focus on helping our existing customers and providing more opportunities to new customers who are overlooked by the mainstream lenders.”

Earlier this year Pepper launched its first retention proposition, and has said it is looking to launch a product transfer offering too.

Anthony Keeble, the previous CFO at Pepper, moves to the newly created role of director of ESG and sustainability. In the new role, he will be tasked with overseeing Pepper’s transition to become a net zero business.

Keeble said that sustainability was “the most pressing issue facing all businesses”, noting that he initially took responsibility for Pepper’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) policies around 15 months ago.

He added: “At Pepper Money, our long-term goal is to transition to a net zero business. This is core to our strategy and will play our part in leading change as we further develop products and support for our customers as they make their transition to a low-emission economy and we continue to help our colleagues make changes, building on the good work we have already delivered.”
