Moloney joins InterBay’s board
Adrian Moloney (pictured), group intermediary director at OSB Group, has been appointed to the board of InterBay.

Moloney joined OSB Group in 2015 as sales director, before taking on the role of group sales director in 2020 and became group intermediary director at the start of 2022.

The latter role aimed to unify the intermediary sales leadership bringing together Precise Mortgages, Kent Reliance for Intermediaries and InterBay.

Prior to this he worked as a corporate account manager at Nationwide for nearly four years and before that worked at Britannic Money for around four years.

InterBay specialises in commercial, semi-commercial, buy to let and bridging. The company lent £372m in loans and assisted 835 brokers in 2022.

Jon Hall, group managing director, mortgages and savings at OSB Group, said “I am delighted that Adrian has been appointed to this important role. InterBay is a very strong business for OSB Group with an impressive reputation.

“Adrian’s drive and experience will help him lead InterBay’s future development and cement its position as a trusted specialist lender in the commercial and semi-commercial sector.”

Moloney added: “I’m honoured to be joining the InterBay Board and looking forward to developing and enhancing the end-to-end InterBay customer experience for brokers and their clients.

“Growing my relationships with InterBay intermediaries will be central to my role with the board and I’ll be spending time listening to the particular needs of borrowers and intermediary partners in the commercial and semi-commercial market sub sectors to establish how best to support these areas.”

OSB Group has recently made changes to its leadership team, promoting Simon Cockerill to group head of intermediary sales, with Emily Hollands expanding the remit of her role as group head of distribution.

Marc Callaghan will stay as head of specialist finance but will focus on the InterBay business and bridging.

The group has also appointed Kelly Iles to the newly-created role of group customer and Consumer Duty director.

OSB Group also completed £1.3bn in new lending in the third quarter of 2023, which compares to £1.6bn compared to the same period in 2022.
