The Right Mortgage appoints Gould as national account manager
The Right Mortgage and Protection Network and The Right DA Club has appointed Mark Gould as national account manager.

Gould will start the role with immediate effect working with the account management team and will report to Amanda Wilson, director of The Right Mortgage.

He will work to bring on board new member firms for the network and DA Club, support existing firms and work on training requirements for The Right Mortgage and individual member firms.

Gould previously worked at True Potential as a regional sales director for around half a year, and before that was at AFH Wealth Management for around a year.

Before that, he worked as a business growth and recruitment executive at 2plan Wealth Management for more than a year, and prior to that was a regional director of recruitment and acquisitions for around eight years.

He has also held roles at Openwork and HSBC, and was director of The Foundry Carber Street Manager from 2012.

Wilson said: “National account manager is a vitally important position within the business and we’re very pleased to announce the appointment of Mark, who is fully immersed in our sector and has worked across a wide number of organisations and roles, focused on delivering quality to the adviser community.

“Mark brings a wealth of experience to this role and will be working on providing all the necessary support to our existing AR and DA firms, to ensure they get the most out of the opportunities we offer, and highlighting the strength of our proposition to other advisers and firms who are seeking a quality proposition.”

Gould added: “Having been in the financial services industry for over 30 years, it’s fair to say I have seen many changes in the industry, having been directly involved in the network and distribution space for 20 of those.

“I have worked with many large- and medium-sized distributors and networks, having built and grown the firms through recruitment and development. It’s a pleasure to be working with a business such as The Right Mortgage that positions itself firmly in the mortgage advisory space and focuses on allowing firms to trade with the model that best suits them, providing all the support and guidance they need to ensure success.”

He continued: “It’s exciting times for The Right Mortgage as we move towards 1,000 advisers, and I’m personally looking forward to attracting good quality firms and advisers into the network and the club.”

Last month, The Right Mortgage partnered with intermediary platform Acre.
